Thank God for the Beauty of Nature

Having spent some quality time together with loved ones, especially spending the time experiencing and enjoying nature always reminds me the unique blessing of nature. Thank God for this beauty and for still letting me walk on this earth to enjoy what life has to offer. Alhamdulillah.

It was a few days before my birthday which of course had already past. Me, my sister, Mr. Danny and also a friend of ours, Farah, we went for this so called 'adventure'. It was nothing much really, just to get some time off and spend the short holiday traveling.

Since it was just a short holiday, Mr. Danny decided to take us somewhere undoubtedly in Germany specifically to enjoy mother nature. And all of us agreed as we didn't really want to spend the day off doing nothing and we should make full use of our time and opportunity here, I thought. As for my sister and Mr. Danny who have been working now, they really thought that they could use a little break.

Not having any expectation in mind, I mean, it's nature, I don't really know what to expect except for trees and mountains, I guess. So, we headed to Eibsee with our rented car. On our way there, we stopped by at a place which I'm not sure what the name was but we stopped somehow because my sister and Mr. Danny were really thrilled upon seeing the signboard "Sommerrodelbahn".

Well, if you must know, it's some sort of toboggan or sled or sleigh which is traditionally used as transport. However, nowadays it is used to carry people down hill for recreational purpose. If you are still hazy, maybe you can just google this. Sorry =( It was something I usually avoid doing but somehow, I tried it.  It was aweeesomeeee! haha. it wasn't as scary as the roller coaster ride, thus why I did enjoy it.

Soon, the journey continued. After a few hours drive, we finally reached Eibsee. The scenery, SUPERB I tell you. Really really incredible and stunning. Gosh, I almost couldn't believe my eyes upon looking at the beauty of this place. It's just beyond words. Too great for words to describe. Indescribable. So, why not I share with you some of the pictures.

that's Eibsee from zugspitze (the highest mountain in Germany, I was told)

Farah, kakak and me.

Btw, this is just a little of Eibsee.

the water was sooooo cold! but we tried to act cool.

Not quite sure what were they doing but it sure looked funny to me. So I snapped.
These are just some of the pictures. There are more but they are not with me right now, but I'll get them in few days time. This is just a sneak peak of our trip to Eibsee. Will upload more, God's will. Infact, there is still this one place that I'm dying to share with you. But, I'll save it for later, okay? Together with some other pictures of Eibsee and Zugspitze. Well, we are not professional photographer, hence explains the pictures. But who cares, the nature itself is already amazing, right? So, you might want to ignore the people in the picture and enjoy the background.

The pictures still can't describe how stunning the place is. I'm sorry but I promise you, I'm not kidding. Some more pictures would do, I supposed? *people, say yes pleaseeee* Will do! Haha.

However, one thing I must say. To those who require the excitement of Hollywood, the power-struggles of Washington, or the money-manipulation of New York, this is definitely not the place. (sorry, I really can't think of any other countries)

As for me and the rest of us who were there during the short break, we enjoyed the day to it bits. And I am deeply grateful for the privilege of being able to witness and enjoy one of Allah greatest creations. Subhanallah.

Happy Father's day!

I'd just stalked this one blog which I stalk most of the time. Not that I am a stalker, it's simply because I love the writer's writings and her sense of humour. And she's pretty too. and there are of course a few other blogs which I stalk as much as I stalk hers =)

I came across the writer's latest post and it's about the father's day contest in which whoever wants to participate needs to complete the sentence, "My father always says, 'Stay away from boys who...'". When I took a sneak peak at what the participants wrote, some of them I found hilarious. Really.

   There are a few that I like most and I think are funny. I quote;
  1. stay away from boys who ARE NOT MANCHESTER UNITED FANS.
  2. stay away from boys who WEAR MORE ACCESSORIES THAN YOU.
  3. stay away from boys who ARE FANS OF JUSTIN BIEBER.
  4. stay away from boys who... JUST STAY AWAY FROM BOYS, PERIOD.

I don't know about you but to me, they are pretty silly and yes, absurd and laughable. Reading the first one, I felt like it might apply to Mr. Danny. haha. He is such a die hard fan of the Red Devil. And yes, the third one would definitely be one of his big NO NO. Indubitably a no no.

Gah. Reading all this just makes my heart aches more. I miss my father, so so much. He is a strict dad. I don't think you can imagine how strict he is to his children, especially when we were still kids. Now, he is quite lenient to all of us. Just QUITE. Life's a bliss to my younger brother and sister I would say. No fair!

Nonetheless, I am really grateful for everything he did and still does to me and all my other siblings. He made us who we are now. I don't say that we are really great children. We are not perfect but we really try to be at least perfect to him. We love you, abah!

what's on my mind right now?

I don't love thinking but my mind always loves to ponder. Sometimes I feel tired due to thinking and they are not always concerning important stuffs like assignmnets and so forth. Gah. It's hectic to me sometimes. Because most of the time, I can't seem to get the thinking off my head. What a torture.

I look at something hence my mind wonders about this and that. I read something and my mind starts to question and debate. What a 'hard working' brain. Yeah, right.

   Well, at the moment I'm pondering about lots of things actually. They are stuffs like;

  1. I miss my family so so bad but I'm very happy that I managed to get some time to skype with them =)
  2. I wanted to buy something for my eldest brother and my dad but I don't know what should I buy for them. Not that they really need anything right now, I supposed. But, it feels good to get something from someone far away. It tells us that we are always in their mind and heart, right?
  3. I miss Mr. Danny a lot too eventhough it has been only 3 days being away from him =(
  4. My room and house is a mess and something need to be done.
  5. I'm thinking of something but somehow I'm not quite sure what is that thing about and it's bothering me. Yikes!

And uh! Before I forget, Danny went strawberry picking this evening with my sister and their friends and I was soooo jelous. I'm so jeleous that they went without me =( But actually, I alreaady went strawberry picking last week with Mr. danny and just the two of us. ngeee. I guess I'm jealous because they took my boyfriend away from me. And also because I felt like my sister is always busy when I'm there but when I'm here she's not. But I guess that's just me, she's a good sis. Well, sometimes. haha. Sorry akak :P I'm at that time of the month so, I can't help it. I just want to be pampered and I'm extra clingy at the moment. erghh. This mensy really gets on my nerve.

This jealousy is driving me crazy. So, I decided to upload the pictures of me and Mr. Danny during our starwberry picking day just to please myself. Plus, I'd just seen the pictures of them picking strawberries. With Mr. Danny. Jealous again ;(

So what if I'm fat? huhuk :(

working woman

he was always looking for bigger sized strawberries.

sexeyh :p told u not to wear shorts. kan pic dah kene tayang ;p

we were so happy with our fruit of labour :) they taste goooooodd
P/S: pardon our looks, guys. The 'serabai-ness' was beyond repair. We went out since morning and it was late evening that time thus we looked horrible. Yet, we enjoyed the day to the bits.

I'm a June Baby

I celebrated my 22nd birthday last Tuesday, 7th of June 2011 and it was great =) No grand celebration whatsoever but I was happy somehow. Besides, my initial intention for my birthday this year were not to pay attention to my birthday, not remembering my own birthday and hoping that nobody will.

But of course, that didn't went well. It was almost as planned at first. Peculiarly, I did forget about my own birthday as I wasn't aware of the day and date lately. Certainly because I'm not having any class at the moment. However, people around me always have ways to spoil it for me *pff*

I was trying to get myself to sleep before 12 am that night and Mr. Danny was trying very very hard to keep me awake. He is the kind of guy who doesn't talk too much (pendiam) but shockingly, he managed to start and try to keep the 'conversation' going by asking me a lot of unimportant questions. Regardless the fact that I didn't answer any of his question. It was shockingly true! and he only stopped talking at 12 midnight sharp and wished me happy birthday. Yes, then he intended to go to sleep straight away. What a thoughtful guy, huh?

For he had spoiled my birthday which I didn't appoint to remember this year, I definitely had my own way of punishing him. Since I never answered his before 12 am questions, right after he decided to get his 'beauty sleep', I began to answer all of his questions and started asking him questions as well. Yes, baby karma is a bitch. So, after a while, I let him sleep. The short torture was just to let him feel the consequences of his action. It would have been longer if he wasn't supposed to go to work the next day. Well, he didn't go. Maybe he thought that his girlfriend was the Yang Di Pertuan Agong that he would get a day off during my birthday.

Nevertheless, the day went well. Very well indeed because I've got to spent some of my money buying birthday presents for myself. I bought three new clothes for ME! yay! Don't get me wrong, Mr. Danny already gave me my birthday present, waaaayyy too early. 2 weeks before my birthday via Royal Mail. Thanks =)

My parents also made my day by calling and started singing the remix version of birthday song (Malay plus English) for me. I was waiting for their message since 12 midnight and I'd almost thought that they'd forgotten about me. Well. they did not! =)

Before that, my younger sister messaged me, "call me please" and I thought it was urgent. I called her and she answered my phone call with a birthday song sang by her and her friends. She was in Selangor for the national netball tournament, I was told. Nowadays a birthday girl has to call people to get herself wished huh? Very smart.

Not to be forgotten, thanks to my eldest sister for being the second person after Mr. Danny giving me an early birthday present. We went to the Mara family day, while watching Mr. Danny playing football, she pulled me aside and gave me my early birthday present. It was a charm bracelet when I specifically asked her for the Samsung ST100.Very demanding huh =)

Well, my birthday was simple and not as merry and lively as all of you might have thought but to me it was great as all my loved ones remembered my birthday and it felt like we were all celebrating it together despite the fact that we are living in different parts of the world. Thanks, abah, mama, abang, kakak, nur, adik and Danny for making my birthday this year another birthday to remember =)

p/s: Thanks a bunch to my friends for the wishes.
